Overview
The Inside Sales Director is a critical element in delivering frontline sales results through customer interaction and employee satisfaction. We are searching for a proven leader for one of our Richmond, VA Mid West and West Coast Sales Teams. The qualified candidate must have a proven track record in successfully managing & leading a sales team and delivering strong performance against revenue goals.
- Collaborate with other departments to develop sales strategies Motivate, train, coach and develop the inside sales operation. Inspire and foster a high-performing sales culture
- Grow team revenues, meet and exceed monthly sales targets
- Ensure adherence to established procedures and guidelines
- Provide feedback to management and recommend changes and modifications to established procedures and guidelines
- Coordinate with fly and field sales team representatives and leaders to remain current on best practices
- Serve as liaison between training, sales management, fly team/field sales and inside sales teams
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and employee satisfaction, by building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and employees
- Develop and communicate annual sales plans in support of the organizational strategy and objectives
- Ensure effective prospecting, up/cross selling and pipeline development
- Ensure the consistent implementation of effective sales processes for optimum performance and success of the organization
- Recruit and develop team who will lead the business forward
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required
- Four or more years of recent successful experience in high-transaction sales environment while meeting and exceeding quota
- One or more years of experience mentoring, coaching, or managing teams of sales professionals
- Experience participating in building and hiring of a sales team
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities
- Strong and proven track record of successfully mentoring and coaching sales teams
- Proven presentation and demonstration skills using web-based meeting applications
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding personal sales goals and quotas in a high transaction environment
- Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing situations at a high growth company
