In this role, we are looking for an energetic and motivated leader-to-be that will be focused on delivering world-class insights, primarily for the financial advisor audience. This means you'll contribute directly to the success of both new and existing clients in a major way, positively influencing the livelihoods of investors.
You'll be a pivotal member of the marketing team, bringing infectious energy to empower clients and drive revenue. In this role, you'll be operating in a global capacity across the US, EMEA and APAC-with a specific focus on our investment management capabilities. It is a fantastic opportunity to get exposure to many of Morningstar's best thought leaders, as well as collaborating with designers, product, and client-facing teams.
Job Responsibilities• Deliver best-in-class investment writing that serves financial advisors and individual investors while deepening their understanding of Morningstar's capabilities to help them.• Offer editing support to Morningstar's thought leaders, delivering compelling narratives with confidence and a commitment to excellence.• Collaborate with the client-facing teams, ensuring we understand the ongoing needs of financial advisors and their clients.• Make data-driven decisions on the mix of content we're planning to help the team execute the content pipeline.• Work towards becoming a leader within the marketing team, offering your expertise and proactive teamwork. Communicate with integrity, empathy, and transparency.• Deep understanding of our products and services, including multi-asset, select equity and ESG portfolios. Able to articulate the benefits to a client and position us against competitors.• Support marketing-related touchpoints with editorial knowhow-including email copy, social copy, video scripting, webinar story structuring, podcasts, media opportunities, and more.• Lead the production of our client chart packs, creating powerful slides to empower investor success.• Improve the distribution of content by maximizing and growing engagement. This includes traffic growth, increasing click-through rates, growing the net promoter score, and maximizing retention rates.
Qualifications• 5+ years of experience in content development within the finance/investment discipline. Time spent working in investing news or with a financial services organization is a plus.• A deep understanding and enthusiasm on investment matters. Familiarity with traditional finance, economics, investing and behavioural sciences.• Critical thinker with excellent writing skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines.• Strong idea generation and the ability to substantiate storytelling with credible details and facts.• Comfortable working in a high-performance team environment and uphold impeccable character with high ethical and quality standards.• Bachelors degree is required.
