Join our forward-thinking organization as the IT Director of End User Computing, where you will spearhead our efforts to optimize technology interfaces and tools for all users. - Strategic Leadership: Craft and execute comprehensive strategic plans for end user computing that synchronize with overarching organizational objectives.
- Team Development: Direct and cultivate a team of end user computing specialists, fostering an environment of growth, collaboration, and innovation.
- Technology Advancement: Proactively identify and integrate cutting-edge technologies and solutions to elevate productivity, fortify security, and enrich user engagement.
- Infrastructure Oversight: Manage the development and sustained maintenance of robust end user computing infrastructures and support frameworks.
- Security Governance: Supporting a Security-First mindset, champion stringent security protocols and compliance standards to safeguard against cyber threats and uphold data integrity.
- Exemplary Support Services: Establish exemplary user support protocols to ensure swift and effective resolution of issues, enhancing user satisfaction, experience, and productivity.
- Vendor Relations: Strategically manage vendor partnerships, ensuring adherence to service agreements and optimizing contractual benefits.
- Financial Stewardship: Administer the budget for end user computing, prioritizing fiscal responsibility, accurate forecast and planning, and cost-effectiveness in resource allocation.
- Interdepartmental Collaboration: Work seamlessly with other IT divisions and business units to ensure a cohesive technology ecosystem.
- Innovation and Optimization: Lead initiatives focused on continuous improvement of processes and technologies to stay at the forefront of industry standards.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor's Degree in field relevant to role preferred
- At least 8 years of progressive IT experience, including a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role within end user computing.
- Expert knowledge of key end user computing technologies, including desktop and mobile operating systems, enterprise software solutions like Microsoft Office 365, and endpoint management platforms (e.g., SCCM, Intune).
- Demonstrated success in leading dynamic teams supporting diverse business units in a rapidly changing environment.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, capable of distilling complex technical details into accessible language for diverse audiences.
- Strategic and analytical thinker with a knack for creative problem-solving and decision-making.
- Proven competence in the formulation and execution of IT strategies, policies, and standards.
- Established leadership track record of human capital management principles, practices, and procedures
- Demonstrated effective negotiating and influence leadership skills
- Demonstrated ability to present and adapt ideas in a business and user friendly language
