As an IT - Software Development Intern you will gain real world experience in a dynamic and supportive environment. The IT Department is a huge driver in Commerce Bank's success. Responsibilities

• Collaborate with one of over 20 IT teams that support the bank
• Participate in the technical direction, development, maintenance, and support for various projects
• Analyze, design, create, code, or maintain an application
• Partner with your peers and mentors to complete projects and duties
• Full time work (40 hours/week) with a flexible work environment of both onsite (downtown KC) and work from home

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent; preferred Junior or Senior standing
• General understanding of principles in one or more programming language such as Java or C#
• Strong and effective written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrates self-motivation and strong work ethic
• Interns must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship
