Job Title:Janitorial Services Department:Facilities / Operations Reports to:Operations Director Locations: • Main Campus (Lakewood, CA) – multi-level building (no elevator) • Ultrasound Lab (across the street from main campus) Position Summary The Janitorial Services staff is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for students, staff, and visitors at both the main campus and the ultrasound lab. This role requires flexibility, reliability, and the ability to work independently across two locations. Essential Duties & Responsibilities • Clean, sanitize, and restock classrooms, labs, offices, restrooms, and common areas. • Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust floors and surfaces. • Empty trash and recycling bins and transport waste to appropriate disposal areas. • Perform deep cleaning tasks as assigned (e.g., floor waxing, and window washing). • Ensure restroom facilities are properly supplied and maintained. • Monitor and report any maintenance or safety concerns to management. • Secure facilities by ensuring doors and windows are locked after cleaning/school closed hours. • Transport cleaning supplies and equipment between the two campus locations as needed. Physical Requirements • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull items weighingmore than 10 poundsas required. • Ability toclimb and descend stairsat the main campus (no elevator available). • Ability to bend, kneel, reach, and stand for extended periods of time. • Must be able to safely handle cleaning equipment and supplies. Qualifications • Previous janitorial, housekeeping, or custodial experience preferred. • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively across two locations. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety. • Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions.
