Journeyman Plumber

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in plumbing installation, maintenance, and repair within residential and commercial settings. This role requires a strong understanding of plumbing systems, the ability to read schematics, and proficiency with various tools and equipment. The Journeyperson Plumber will work on construction sites and in existing structures, ensuring that all plumbing systems are functioning efficiently and effectively. Responsibilities • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in accordance with local codes and regulations. • Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of plumbing systems. • Perform field service tasks including troubleshooting issues and providing timely solutions. • Use power tools and hand tools to complete plumbing tasks such as pipe threading and fixture installations. • Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify potential issues or necessary repairs. • Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters and electricians, on construction sites to ensure project completion. • Handle heavy lifting as required for the installation of pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing components. • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols at all times. Qualifications • OSHA 10 certification • Proven experience as a plumber with a valid Journeyman/Journeywoman license or equivalent certification. • Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and materials used in the industry. • Ability to read and interpret schematics related to plumbing installations. • Experience working on construction sites with a focus on teamwork and collaboration. • Proficiency in using power tools and performing heavy lifting tasks as needed. • Excellent problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented mindset. • Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
