Kitchen Managers (KMs) at Crust Pizza Co. are vital to the success of our operations. As a KM, you will lead by empowering and inspiring your team. Cross training employees. ●Quality Assurance: Ensure all food meets Crust’s standards for flavor, presentation, and freshness. ●Culture: Promote and preserve Crust’s positive workplace culture. Good communication with FOH staff. ●Team Development: Observe, coach, and provide constructive feedback to help team members grow and succeed. ●Working Manager Role:The Kitchen Manager actively works various kitchen positions while managing overall kitchen operations. Base Qualifications ● Proven ownership of BOH operations, including training and team leadership. ●3+ yearsof kitchen management experience. ● Direct experience managing cost of goods (COG), including ordering, receiving, and cost control. ● Food Handler's Certification (current and valid). Preferred Qualifications ●5+ yearsof restaurant experience/kitchen, leadersip experience in a fast-paced environment. ● Strong communication and interpersonal skills to lead and inspire a diverse team. ● High level of accountability and responsibility for team and operational performance. ● Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are a plus. Physical Requirements ● Ability to work in a kitchen environment that requires standing, walking, bending, twisting, reaching, kneeling, and lifting up to50 lbs. ● Use of handheld appliances, kitchen tools, and office equipment as needed. ● Clear communication with team members and guests in person, over the phone, and via email. Working Conditions ● Must be authorized to work in the U.S. ● Flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, holidays, and extended hours as needed. ● Work near mechanical equipment and in varying indoor and outdoor conditions. ● Exposure to high noise levels from kitchen equipment, music, and guest interactions.
