Manager, Business Development, Americas

This role is accountable for the oversight and development of the BDR team focused on getting sales meetings to build pipeline within the accounts they're assigned to across the Americas. The Manager will lead an internal BDR's to best qualify the needs of existing customers and new prospects. The team plays a key role to fuel pipeline by conducting strategic research and outreach. As Manger you will play a key role in these highly visible and motivated teams that achieve individual, team and organizational quotas.

Key Departmental Functions
  • Evaluates all corporate strategic objectives and develop coaching strategies that will help BDR's exceed their targets.
  • Interact with various stakeholders to drive business opportunities and ensure proper CRM hygiene.
  • Front line leader for all BDR's within their team responsible for maintaining positive and motivational culture in line with Ivanti's vision.
  • Drive regular governance and provide visibility with Sales Leadership to ensure alignment and locking arms to achieve Corporate objectives.
  • Monitors the performance of all BDR's within their team to ensure activity, logging and commissionable metrics are properly attributed.
  • Collaborate with various organizations to develop BDR programs that will complement overall sales strategies.
  • Evaluates the effectiveness and efficiency of the internal sales staff against their performance to quota in order to maintain a high level of accountability and performance
  • Studies the company's product offerings and find creative ways to inject BDR influence to promote those offerings.
  • Ensures that marketing materials are aligned with corporate sales strategies.
  • May perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Experience:
  • 2-5 years' experience as a Business Develop Representative or related role
  • Must have proven ability to work with key stakeholders at client organizations and be able to recognize and analyze selling approaches, marketing programs, joint value propositions, and business cases around strategic partnerships.
  • Must have strong business acumen with the ability to manage potentially difficult situations.
  • Must demonstrate a disposition to be highly ambitious and goal oriented with a relentless work ethic.
  • Must demonstrate leadership skills in order to develop and motivate the team.
  • Must have basic knowledge of typical sales processes, metrics, and sales management techniques.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with a proven ability to lead teams.
  • Must have excellent time management, decision making, and organization skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Training in a major sales methodology such as (but not limited to) SPIN or Challenger Selling.
  • Familiarity with a broad range of application and infrastructure software.
  • Secondary education from an accredited institution with a bachelor's degree business, marketing, communications, or a related fie
