Who We’re Looking For We’re seeking a proactive, purpose-drivenMiddle School Math & Science Teacherwho is passionate about building curriculum, engaging students in hands-on, project-based learning, and integrating Biblical truth across subjects. You are someone who: • Lives a Christ-centered life and sees teaching as a calling • Has experience or deep interest in creating sustainable curriculum with a collaborative team • Thrives in environments where systems, structure, and creativity intersect • Understands how to create a nurturing, structured classroom where students feel known and accountable • Possesses a natural sense of urgency and follow-through • Brings experience in teaching science, math, or combo classes (preferred) What You'll Do • Teach middle school Math and Science for grades 6–8 using BJU Press curriculum as the foundation • Customize lessons to align with Reggio Emilia principles and project-based learning • Build curriculum that is repeatable, scalable, and rooted in Biblical worldview • Support a culture of academic excellence, student inquiry, and whole-child development • Collaborate with administration to build systems of accountability, grading, and process within your department • Serve as a mentor and spiritual guide for students during a pivotal stage of development • Create engaging, hands-on experiences that foster curiosity, critical thinking, and faith formation Qualifications • Bachelor’s Degree (required), Teaching credential or subject-area expertise preferred • Experience teaching middle school and/or working with combo classes • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills • Alignment with the Growing Minds statement of faith and core values • Self-starter who thrives in an entrepreneurial, team-oriented culture Why Teach at Growing Minds?
