We are seeking a powerhouse Music Director who will lead music creative for video and other media formats. You will work in partnership with other creative teams, including content writers, producers and video editors to create unique media experiences for the Homes.com audience. You will bring a wide knowledge and experience within the music industry and lead the music selection process for all forms of media. You will lead negotiations and navigate the maze of rights holders, intellectual property laws and music licensing laws. This role will be supported by our growth and innovation at our expanding global campus in Richmond, Virginia.

HYBRID WORK SCHEDULE. 4 DAYS IN OFFICE, 1 DAY WORK FROM HOME. RELOCATION TO RICHMOND, VA REQUIRED

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the creative vision and innovative strategy for the audio portion of all media created by internal producers and agencies
• Collaborate with creatives, producers, and video editors to create unique media experiences
• Demonstrate experience with ProTools, original music, music publishing and music management
• Select, negotiate and licenses music including securing artists to write or cover songs
• Manage creative road map and priorities in a dynamic and fast paced environment.
• Continuously revise and improve deliverables based on consumer engagement and requirements.
• Create brand standards, training, and quality assurance of audio in media.
• Analyze, refine, or develop processes that achieve improved deliverables across the products

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of leading creative projects and teams

• 10+ years' experience creating and directing musical content for digital platforms
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience using ProTools
