Location: Downey, CA Pay Rate:$70-$85 Contract Duration:1 year OT Rate:Straight Time (Exempt) Estimated Regular Hours/Week:40.00 Onsite Skills Required: - Expertise in Cisco networking technologies, including routers, switches, and data center solutions such as Cisco Nexus, VXLAN, and ACI. - Expertise in BGP protocol configuration, including route propagation, route maps, attributes, and policy-based routing. - Expertise in firewalls in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI). - Proficiency with identifying and resolving complex BGP issues such as route leaks, path selection anomalies, and peering conflicts. - Proficiency with designing resilient network architectures with high availability, failover, and redundancy strategies for mission-critical systems. - Proficiency with designing and implementing hybrid cloud connectivity using Megaport, ExpressRoute, Direct Connect, and Site-to-Site VPNs. - Proficiency with designing secure network architectures. - Strong understanding of public cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)). - Strong understanding of cloud-native networking and security best practices, including identity and access management (IAM), network segmentation, encryption, and compliance with industry standards and regulatory frameworks. - Strong understanding of access control policies, risk mitigation strategies, firewall configurations, and regulatory compliance (e.g., HIPAA, PCI-DSS). Experience Required: - Six (6) years of experience within the last eight (8) years in designing, implementing, and maintaining complex enterprise network infrastructure, including multi-site and hybrid environments. - Six (6) years of experience within the last eight (8) years in configuring and managing BGP, Cisco routing and switching, security, data center architecture, and high-availability design. - Three (3) years of experience within the last five (5) years in architecting and managing cloud environments across multiple platforms (AWS, Azure, Oracle Cloud, and GCP), including VPC/VNet design, cloud routing, peering, security, and network automation. Education Required: This classification requires the possession of Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE), AND AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Azure Administrator Associate.
