Due to an influx in business, SGPS/ShowRig is hiring skilled fabricators on an on-call hourly basis to support upcoming builds for live event and entertainment production builds. If you’re a hands-on professional with experience in fabrication, this is your opportunity to work alongside some of the best in the industry.Position Overview On-Call Fabricators will support a variety of projects in our Las Vegas Fabrication Department. We are currently hiring for multiple fabrication specialties, including: Carpenters – Specializing in theatrical carpentry, refinishing rental stage platforms, and set construction. CNC Operators – Operating CNC machines to produce precision parts, interpret drawings, and maintain machining quality. Cutting Technicians – Operating saws to cut aluminum and steel materials with precision for production use. Welders – Performing MIG welding on aluminum and steel to build and assemble structural elements. These roles are hands-on and fast-paced, working with teams to deliver safe, high-quality results on tight production timelines. Key Responsibilities (varies by discipline) Build, refinish, and assemble stage platforms, flats, and set pieces. Operate CNC machines, saws, or welding equipment to meet project specifications. Interpret and follow blueprints, CAD drawings, and cut lists. Measure materials accurately and ensure high-quality fabrication standards. Collaborate with supervisors and team members to complete fabrication projects on schedule. Maintain tools, machines, and work areas in safe, clean condition. Follow company and OSHA safety protocols at all times.Requirements Proven experience in one or more of the following: carpentry, CNC operation, cutting, or welding. Ability to read and interpret instructions and role specific disciplines. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship. Physical stamina and ability to work with heavy materials and fabrication equipment. Team-oriented mindset with effective communication skills.
