Within Finance and Order to Cash Systems our goal is to maintain our high standard of excellence within accounting while also automating and simplifying our processes by persistently striving for technological modernization. Through our optimization of our strategic IBM platforms we implement stable accessible and accurate financial processes for all users.
Your role and responsibilities
- Gather and Analyze business requirements from stakeholders
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to increase efficiency
- Provide conceptual and detailed designs to meet business needs collaborating with cross-functional teams to design develop and deploy solutions that align with business strategies and goals
- Write and maintain detailed functional specifications for custom programs
- Configure implement and optimize tax solutions
- Support tax calculations for indirect taxes like sales tax VAT and GST
- Address issues like tax errors reconciliation problems and ensure the system is compliant with relevant laws and standards for each country.
- Create test cases and perform testing
- Provide post go-live support including root cause analysis/resolution of process issues
- Ensure the security and compliance of the application and keep legal and internal regulations
- Builds professional relationships with clients management and team members to ensure delivery of proposed solutions supports for development of business possibilities and for personal development
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of client business needs and industry trends.
- Develop and deliver technical training and workshops promoting knowledge sharing and skill development within the department.

- Accounting & Tax Background/ Knowledge
- Experience with Procure to Pay processes/concepts
- Familiarity with SAP FI & SD
Preferred technical and professional experience
- Understanding of the integration between SAP SD SAP FI/CO and OneSourc
- Hands on experience with ONESOURCE Indirect Tax Determination
