• Start Date: October/November 2024
• Location: Work from home
• Scheduling: A minimum of 10 hours per week from Monday to Saturday from 10:00 am ET - 11:00 pm ET
• Students: You will teach adult students (private and or group classes) that are based predominantly in the US, Brazil, and Latin America
• Remuneration: Set base rate from 5.5 - 5.9 USD per hour
• You will be contracted by The Really Great Teacher Company as an Independent Service Provider

Requirements

• Native Spanish speaker
• Bilingual (Spanish and must be able to speak conversational English B1 level)
• Minimum of 1-year experience teaching Spanish as a second language
• DELE/ ELE (Diploma/Certificado de Español como Lengua Extranjera / Diploma/Certificate of Spanish as a Foreign Language) completed / or a degree in Linguistics, Education, Spanish, Modern Languages or Literatures completed or in progress at an accredited institution of higher education
• Online experience preferred
• Highly computer literate
• High degree of professionalism
• Comfortable in a fast paced, dynamic work environment
• No criminal record

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS (NON-NEGOTIABLE)

• PC specifications
• Processor: Intel ® Core™ i5 CPU @2.0GHz (4 CPUs) or greater 
• Memory: 8GB RAM or greater 
• Backup power 
• Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) with a battery life up to 4-5 hours (2000VA) (or willing to purchase before commencing teaching). This is applicable and a non-negotiable requirement for candidates based in a country where regular power interruptions occur. 
• A stable fibre internet connection
• At a minimum of 20 Mbps upload and download speeds 
• PC is connected via a LAN cable and not via a Wi-Fi connection  
• Noise-cancelling headsets and HD web camera. Back-up headset is highly recommended 
• Tidy, well-lit, and quiet teaching environment
