Pharmacist in Charge/Pharmacy Manager

We are seeking a results-driven and detail-oriented Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) / Pharmacy Manager to oversee all aspects of our pharmacy operations. This full-time, on-site role is for a pharmacist with robust experience in both management and pharmaceutical compounding. Role and Responsibilities: • Leadership and Management:Supervise all pharmacy staff, optimize workflows, and cultivate a positive and productive work environment. • Regulatory Compliance:Ensure all pharmacy activities, including handling controlled drugs, adhere to federal and state laws and regulations. • Compounding Expertise:Perform and oversee the compounding of sterile (USP <797>) and non-sterile (USP <795>) medications. • Dispensing and Patient Care:Accurately dispense prescriptions, counsel patients on proper medication use, and collaborate with physicians to optimize patient therapy. • Operational Support:Manage the daily running of the pharmacy, including the compounding lab, to ensure timely and accurate prescription dispensing. Candidate Profile: • Education:Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree. • Licensure:Must hold a current Florida Pharmacist license. • Experience:Minimum of 2 years of experience in both sterile and non-sterile compounding. Skills: • Expert knowledge of pharmaceuticals, drug interactions, and compounding procedures. • Familiarity with pharmacy management software. • Excellent communication skills and customer-service focus. • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
