Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable PRN Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities • Review and interpret medication orders to ensure accuracy and appropriateness • Provide patient education on medication usage • Manage inventory effectively, ensuring the availability of medications while minimizing waste • Utilize pharmacy software, EMR systems, and EHR systems for accurate record-keeping and patient care documentation • Collaborate with healthcare providers in acute care settings to develop pain management strategies • Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality • Stay updated on medical terminology, physiology, anatomy knowledge, and current pharmacy practices Skills • Strong patient service skills with a focus on patient care and assessment. • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team in hospital environments.
