Bag Making Operator Location:Henderson, NevadaType:Full-time $20 to $24 per hour Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented rolled product machine Operator to join our production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining bag making machinery to produce various types of bags according to specifications and quality standards. This role requires a strong understanding of machine operation, troubleshooting, and a commitment to safety and efficiency. Responsibilities: • Operate and monitor bag making machinery to produce bags efficiently and accurately. • Set up machines, including loading raw materials (film rolls), adjusting settings, and ensuring proper machine calibration. • Monitor production for quality, consistency, and adherence to specifications, performing regular quality checks. • Identify and troubleshoot machine malfunctions or production issues, performing minor repairs or escalating to maintenance as needed. • Conduct routine preventative maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance and longevity. • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols and company policies. • Accurately complete production logs, quality control documents, and other required paperwork. • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize production processes and meet daily targets. • Assist with other production tasks as needed.Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent. • Proven experience (e.g., 1-3 years) operating machinery in a manufacturing environment is highly preferred. • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. • Ability to read and interpret production orders, blueprints, and quality specifications. • Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality products. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. • Basic computer skills for data entry and record-keeping. • Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to [e.g., 50] pounds, and perform repetitive tasks. • Familiarity with safety procedures in a manufacturing setting.
