Principal .NET Engineer with Azure experience

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with enterprise and various architects to create prototypes and Proofs of Concepts that align with stakeholder requirements
• Translate backlog requirements into detailed architecture and designs
• Ensure alignment between architectural solutions and business objectives
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and security
• Lead back-end development efforts ensuring robust, maintainable code
• Design and innovate features to enhance the user experience
• Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on best engineering practices
• Enhance system performance including tuning, reusability, and automation
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technology standards and compliance regulations
• Prepare and maintain all applications utilizing standard development tools

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of experience in designing, building, and maintaining both back-end and front-end of web projects with a focus on back-end
• Proficiency in Azure cloud platform, knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker containers
• Skills in DBMS technology including SQLServer or PostgreSQL, MongoDB
• Familiarity with caching mechanisms such as Redis or Memcached
• Competency in development tools and technologies including GIT, build automation tools, and testing frameworks
• Understanding of package managers, CI/CD pipelines, and REST-based APIs
• Ability to quickly learn and operate autonomously in a fast-paced environment
• Fluent English communication skills at a B2+ level

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of Kafka, RabbitMQ, or ActiveMQ, familiarity with MQTT/AMQP protocols
• Knowledge of front-end technologies including JavaScript/TypeScript and libraries such as React
• Capability to build GraphQL client and server (preferably Apollo)
• Understanding of UI/UX and basic prototype design
