Summary of BA Role:
- The BA provides direction to product development and the overall process of the product and services function.
- The BA builds products and services from existing ideas and helps to develop new ideas based on industry experience and contact with customers and prospects.
- Increases profitability of existing products and services to developing new solutions which advance business objectives and client needs.
- Builds strong working relationships with internal teams, client facing departments and key clients.
Job Specific Duties and Responsibilities
- Creates, supports, and executes on vision/strategy/roadmap for products/services.
- Supports PM in leading the team in fulfilling that vision.

- Ability to communicate clearly with clients, decipher client needs and wants and clearly compile and define these requirements.
- Demonstrate empathy with and share the client's desires.
- Solid research capabilities, uncovering market, business, and functional requirements, identify impact.
What Part Will You Play?
- Support the process from product research, through development to product launch, executing in-line with the project plan, for new and existing product enhancements.
- Assist in development of business cases, requiring analytical skills for new product functionality, which serve as key input to decision-making, prioritization, and client value proposition.
- For assigned products;owns, manages, and communicates a product roadmap, including collaborationwith industry analysts to form competitive analysis. Works to deliver productsto market,with, sales, and relationship management teams to determine prioritization, development, and ongoing costs of delivery, and market positioning.
- Manage the details of product backlog and ensures continual enhancements to existing products.
- Develop or support the "launch' & "go to market plan" for new or existing products or smaller product initiatives.
- Collaborate with the Product Manager and Marketing team to develop marketing strategies based on objectives, costs, and value proposition.
- Reviewresearch with team to quantify value proposition for inputs to pricing analysis and marketing collateral.
- For assigned product initiatives, collaborate with company business leaders, sales, IT, legal, strategic marketing, and relationship management teams to define product goals, objectives and market positioning.
- Follow a structured, repeatable process for collecting and analyzing market research (including industry publications, analyst research, experiential research, client surveys, etc.)
- Support the strategic planning approach for summarizing and communicating the results of aggregate research.
- Participate in product concept, requirement & design workshops and focus groups with clients and internal teams to define and establish sound product requirements, objectives, and architecture design.
- Support the product delivery process to ensure that product objectives and key requirements are met and aligned with the market needs and strategy.
- Complete required documentation and provides design direction, testing support, and general assistance to team, as needed, during the execution phase of product development consisting of moderate complexities and scopes.
- Build and create clinical content for EHR Clients, though deep understanding & expert knowledge of clinical/medical encounters & requirements.
What Are We Looking for in This Role?
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree and/orTypically, Minimum 3 Years Relevant ExperienceinHealth IT and/or aclinical practice setting, using health IT software (EHR/PM)
- Experience in similar business product services and/or external customer/market experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prefer experience in a software development environment and/or software testing and business analysis.
- Prefer direct experience withHealthITsoftware within a clinical practice setting.
- Prefer experience withAgilesoftware products and delivery methodology.
