Product Manager - Network

Your Role and Responsibilities
The IBM Cloud Infrastructure organization is looking for an experienced innovative Offering Manager to join the team responsible for the IBM Cloud Infrastructure portfolio and lead our IBM Cloud Network family of offerings. As an offering manager you will act as an entrepreneur strategist technical visionary cross-functional team leader and client advocate. Responsibilities include define and delivering on a differentiated roadmap building relationships with key stakeholders and internal cross-functional teams including sales pricing and engineering to drive offering strategy and execution and tracking and monitoring the progress risks and outcomes of your product deliverables. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in offering or product management and an understanding of the cloud infrastructure market or traditional network hardware and workloads.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Overall 10+ Years’ experience
• At least 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager in B2B or Cloud businesses (SaaS PaaS or IaaS products)
• Networking domain expertise & Exposure to Virtual Private Network (VPN) services.
• Experience as a Product Manager in the past with deep experience in cloud technologies IT/Network Infrastructure products or services
• Strong understanding of multiple aspects of Cloud Networking technologies and products such as Software defined networking data-center networking network connectivity fundamentals VPC load balancers Cloud firewalls Content Delivery Networks (CDN) etc
• Understanding of cloud platforms and cloud buyer journey
• Experience in leading cross-org products – Experience with creating presentations and presenting to internal teams executives and clients.
• Must demonstrate consolidated knowledge & experience in Core Network and Cloud deployments
• Hands-on data driven approach and an ability to work concurrently on several projects.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Knowledge of AWS or Azure IaaS platform
• Understanding of building cloud applications in an enterprise environment
• Understanding of cloud consumption and technology models such as pricing and utilization
• Experience in modern networking trends e.g. Cloud network SD-WAN network telemetry network flow analysis
• Experience driving product vision go-to-market strategy and design discussions
• Knowledge of multiple functional areas such as Product Management Engineering UX/UI Sales Customer Support Finance or Marketing
