Project Manager - TIA Program

Job Summary

AECOM is looking for a Transportation Project Manager to provide support for the AECOM Transportation Improvement Act (TIA) Team for GDOT. Will oversee the delivery of GDOT Heart of Georgia Altamaha projects. The position will be based in Georgia. As a Project Manager on the TIA team working directly with GDOT, you will be responsible for managing the delivery of all of the Heart of Georgia Altamaha TIA 2 (2023-2032) projects. This includes:

Responsibilities;

• Holding weekly coordination meetings with the TIA team
• Contacting local governments to check on status of local let projects
• Tracking the progress of GDOT let design projects
• Developing resurfacing bid packages for let by GDOT
• Reviewing and approving local government's resurfacing bid packages
• Reviewing and approving consultant and local government invoices

Minimum Requirements

• BA/BS and 2 plus years of ith roadway construction or related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
• Valid Drivers' License and good driving record

Preferred Qualifications

• GDOT roadway construction or maintenance experience
• Experience with pavement evaluation and pavement bid package creation development
