We have current availability at our Southeast Public Health Center, located in Westmont, IL on a full-time basis. The hours are generally Monday through Friday from 8:00 am until 4:30 pm, with one to two days per week working until 7:00 pm. • Provide WIC nutrition counseling and breastfeeding support • Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments for pregnant/postpartum individuals and their infants • Connect clients to medical, social, and community resources through referrals • Deliver nursing services in clinic, community, and home settings • Counsel individuals and families on health needs and concerns • Educate clients individually and in small groups • Develop individualized care plans • Administer vaccines and apply fluoride varnish for infants and children • Perform screenings (perinatal depression, social determinants of health, ages and stages) • Complete documentation in the electronic medical record • Participate in emergency response activities as assigned • Registered Nurse (RN) licensed in the State of Illinois • Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred (Associate degree considered) • One year of nursing experience preferred, not required
