As part of our successful North American Sales team, you will be responsible for selling QNX products, services and solutions to specific automotive accounts in NA, ensuring target sales achievement and total customer satisfaction. Overview
As a Regional Sales Manager, you will manage and coordinate the sale of company products, services and solutions into the General Embedded/Industrial/Medical/Transportation/ market segments in the North Eastern USA ensuring target sales achievement and total customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities Include:
- Focusing sales efforts on the OEMs and manufacturers in the Industrial, medical, transportation and commercial industry. Expanding our existing customer base and penetrating new companies and similar market opportunities.
- Establishing customer relationships and otherwise managing customer sales in this region. This will include managing customer expectations, account development and account management
- Working as part of a team comprising Application Engineers and Technical Account Managers, analyze customer requirements, deliver product and services to meet customer needs and manage the sales cycle through to revenue recognition.
- Coordinating all elements of the QNX Software Systems functional departments. This includes assisting in defining strategic marketing initiatives, liaising with R&D to communicate customer technical requirements and ensuring support commitments are fulfilled to deliver customer satisfaction.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree and 8+ years of relevant experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Comprehensive experience in sales or account management
- Experience in technology product and service sales within the embedded real-time market
- Experience selling software to OEM companies in General Embedded/Industrial/Medical/Transportation and Commercial markets
- Experience in delivering customized solutions to embedded markets
- Experience negotiating, managing and closing major accounts
- Must be comfortable working in all sales media, including delivering presentations to customers and proposal writing.
