IBM is looking for a self-driven and highly motivated Reporting Analyst with proven experience to join our IBM Procurement Services team for one of IBM’s key clients in Germany.

As a Reporting Analyst you will be supporting end to end reporting requirements through client’s existing and future tools.

This role manages the day-to-day activities that support the measurement and reporting requirements of an account to ensure that required measurement and reporting data is available to both the IBM and Client Management teams.

This role also may provide analysis and support on the use and interpretation of the measurement and reporting data define plans for data collection including the types of data and time of data capture coordinate activities to collect analyze and report the information and coordinate activities to ensure the internal and external audit readiness of measurement data if required.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Strong Excel (…. vlookups pivot tables functions macros data tables and creating and updating graphs ….)
• Knowledgeable of databases tables dashboards and fields in general
• Fluency in English (German language is not a must but very good to have)
• Ability to build and maintain open and transparent relationships with colleagues business units as well as stakeholders.
• Self-sufficient in gathering and analyzing data to provide insights that will support decisions
• Team player attitude energetic and pragmatic personality with excellent communication skills
• Proactive attitude self-driven with developed leadership skills high levels of personal drive initiative and commitment to business goals through reporting
• Change champion able to independently prepare and present report summary to leadership team.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

Experience with the following are bonus points but not necessary you can learn them at IBM:

• Running ad hoc reports on a need by need basis.
• Creating and running reports in E1 (Oracle) – Currently used by client
• Creating and running reports in Cognos – Currently used by client
• Creating and running reports in SQL Developer (writing SQL queries) – Currently used by client
• Creating and running reports in Basware – Currently used by client
• Working with Power BI Tableau and SAP.
