In this role you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers) where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.
As a SAP PP Consultant you will serve as a client-facing practitioner who sells leads and implements expert services utilizing the breadth of IBM's offerings and technologies. A successful Consultant is regarded by clients as a trusted business advisor who collaborates to provide innovative solutions used to solve the most challenging business problems.
You will work developing solutions that excel at user experience style performance reliability and scalability to reduce costs and improve profit and shareholder value.
Your primary responsibilities include:
• Innovative Client Solution Design and Development: Design and develop client solutions that automate or improve existing systems as per business requirements and system functionality.
• Comprehensive Support for SAP PP Enhancements: Support end-to-end enhancements at multiple phases of PP aspects in SAP.
• Proactive Advocate for Continuous Improvement: Work within a continuous improvement framework challenging ideas and finding solutions to problems.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP PP configuration and implementation.
- Proven experience in leading or coordinating teams in SAP environments.
- Strong knowledge of production planning and control processes (MRP BOM routing capacity planning).
- Experience with SAP integration across modules (MM QM PM SD FI/CO).
- Solid understanding of SAP S/4HANA and its PP functionalities.
- Excellent analytical communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in international project delivery or rollout environments.
- Knowledge of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and shop floor integration.
- Familiarity with Agile or hybrid project methodologies.
- Italian language proficiency.
- Previous experience in mentoring junior consultants or acting as a functional lead in complex SAP programs.
