The Corporate Engineering team is responsible for building / providing services and infrastructure that enable bricksters to be successful. To accomplish this the team is dedicated to the mission of ensuring that the underlying infrastructure is running smoothly and that systems and tools are working as expected.
As an IT Scrum Master you will work with the Corporate Engineering Leadership, PMs and IT teams to plan milestones, report on project status and keep deliverables on track using project management and agile best practices. You will report to a Corporate Engineering Leader and assist on projects and improve how we deliver great products and services.
You will assist with the organization of work to be delivered. You'll maintain and expand our relationships with the broader IT org and organization. You will participate in organizing controls, governance and standards across our teams to achieve successful outcomes. You will report to the Sr. Manager, Systems Engineering as part of the CIO's org.
The impact you will have:
- Apply Agile principles to help Corporate Engineering Scrum teams build amazing products and shared services.
- Assist Corporate Engineering leadership in organizing in Jira working closely with IT PMO and PMs to build processes that improve velocity and intentionality.
- Plan and drive the tactical execution of project and process deliverables with change management considered at all phases
- Facilitate all agile ceremonies for Corporate Engineering Scrum team(s)
- Track and report on Corporate Engineering QBR and OKR metrics
- Create reports for project progress and delivery to team members and leadership
- Identify areas of process improvement in our IT Project Development Life Cycle
- Help to manage our Jira projects for proper content and organization. Develop the necessary dashboards and reports to serve Scrum teams and external stakeholders
What we look for:
- 3+ years of technical program/project/relationship management experience
- 2+ years experience applying agile methodologies facilitating technical and or engineering teams.
- Experience leading IT projects with multiple dependencies and constraints
- Proficiency with Jira software for managing EPICs, Stories, Tasks and creating of reports/dashboards
- Experience with project management tools such as Smartsheet or other requirements/task management tools
- Ability to build relationships, understand and help delivery teams be successful.
- Understanding of IT SDLC process for software development
- Experience working with Agile development teams
- Knowledge of PMI PMP
- BS in Computer Science/Engineering/Information Systems or equivalent experience
