As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail and mall locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will interact with guests and staff, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication to support a welcoming environment. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.54 / Hour Job Schedule:DayTimeFri05:30 AM - 05:30 PMSat05:30 AM - 05:30 PMSun05:30 AM - 05:30 PM What You'll Do: • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior. • Observe and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual circumstances to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives as required. • Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and helping to maintain an orderly environment within the location. • Support emergency response efforts by following established protocols and communicating with appropriate personnel as needed. • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disturbances and provide reassurance to clients, employees, and visitors. What We're Looking For: • Availability across various days and shifts • Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments • A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company • Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: • Customer service experience is preferred. • A valid security guard card or license is preferred. • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
