Senior AWS Cloud Solutions Architect

We are seeking a highly experiencedSenior AWS Cloud Solutions Architectto support a Department of Defense (DoD) program. This is a full-time, onsite role based in a secure facility in San Antonio, TX. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in AWS cloud architecture, security, and deployment strategies across classified and unclassified environments. Responsibilities: • Design and implement scalable, secure cloud solutions aligned with DoD technical requirements. • Optimize cloud architectures for software applications across hybrid environments. • Ensure data integrity and compliance with federal security standards. • Provide technical leadership in AWS tools such as Kubernetes, EKS, and Lambda. Requirements: • Location: Onsite 5 days/week in San Antonio, TX • Security Clearance: Must hold an active TS/SCI. Clearance will be verified prior to interview. • Experience: Minimum 10 years in AWS integrations, including container platforms and microservices • Technical Skills: Experience with hybrid monolithic deployments using VMs, OVAs, EC2s, and Kubernetes • Certifications: - IAT II Certification required - Must hold at least 2 of the following (or substitute with 4 additional years of experience): - AWS Solutions Architect Professional - AWS DevOps Engineer Professional - AWS SysOps Administrator Associate - AWS Advanced Networking Specialty Impellam Group and its brands are equal-opportunity employers committed to diversity and inclusion.
