Hybrid : This position requires an employee to be on site 3 times per week (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday)
Senior Buyer (Electrical)
What you will do:

• Represent purchasing activities to the program team and vice versa
• Build and lead an effective team of buyers and planners from the Purchasing Project and Launch Leader.
• Partner with Program Managers to represent purchasing and communicate program requirements/vehicle line overview.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ability to work effectively cross-functionally, internally and externally and build relationships
• Experience with commodities (metals, stampings, castings, plastics, resins, paints, electronics, etc.)
• Experience in handling commercial issues with suppliers and evaluating supplier performance
• Proven competence in negotiation skills
• Professional interpersonal verbal and written communication skills

Additional Description
Required Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineer, or related Careers.
• Previous experience in similar positions (Experience as Buyer with Contracts and Supplier Service).
• Microsoft Office: intermediate level.
• English: intermediate level.
• Availability to work in Sao Caetano Do Sul, Sao Paulo, Brazil, in a hybrid regime (3 times per week in person).

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in the automotive industry
• Knowledge of procurement software
• Knowledge of materials management
• Able to interpret market data
• Able to read blueprints and understand basic engineering documents
• Solid knowledge of contract law and its applications in purchasing processes
