In this role you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers) where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.
This role focuses on designing building and maintaining scalable cloud data and automation solutions using AWS and modern development frameworks. You will develop and optimize ETL pipelines automate workflows through Python APIs and ensure secure and reliable integrations across systems. Collaboration with DevOps data and security teams will be key to delivering robust high-performing infrastructure.
- Strong practical experience with AWS services including databases and serverless computing
- Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL and DynamoDB
- Hands-on experience setting up scalable ETL pipelines using cloud-native or open-source tools
- Advanced skills in Python for automation and API development using FastAPI
- Working knowledge of API integrations (REST SOAP)
- Experience with CI/CD pipeline automation using tools like GitLab CI or AWS CodePipeline
- Knowledge of Elasticsearch or OpenSearch for data indexing and search optimization
- Understanding of cloud security concepts including IAM roles and security groups
- Familiarity with VPC configuration and networking in AWS environments
- Exposure to enterprise content management platforms such as OpenText
