The Opportunity

This position works out of our Lake Forest, IL location.

Responsible for forecasting ID Now Covid Sales Revenue and Volumes for ARDx Infectious Disease Developed Markets U.S. Commercial.

What you'll work on:

• Responsible for forecasting Covid ID Now which has a complex forecasting model with multiple variables and inputs such as Covid cases, Distributor and retailer inventory levels, sales tracings/sell out, etc. under supervision of a manager.
• Analyze and forecast ID Now Covid Utilization as a subject matter expert.
• Analyse and forecast ID Now Covid only instruments under guidance.
• Monitor and forecast Covid Key Leading indicators including but not limited to US Covid Cases, International Covid Case trends, hospitalizations, covid variants, etc
• Prepare quarterly LBE, Plan, Confirmation and several ad hoc sales forecasts. Ensure timely completion of all deliverables.
• Interface with management across respective functions (e.g., Marketing, Sales, Corporate Accounts, finance, Supply Chain)
• Communicate demand forecast plans and related assumption though the supply chain and beyond
• Set and monitor key performance indicators and diagnostics to ensure continuous forecast improvement efforts and achievement of agreed goals.
• Responsible of forecast accuracy reporting to Business Unit with Root Cause Analysis towards a future improvement
• Complete Business Unit finance templates with valid commentaries and explanations of significant variances as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in related field or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• At least 4 years of experience in financial planning and analysis

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Finance or similar field.
• Experience with forecasting reports for the sales organization.
