This role will be working on our Poe product.

About the Team and Role:

We are seeking a talented Senior Full Stack Engineer to contribute to Poe our rapidly growing AI product. On the Creators team you’ll have the thrilling opportunity to build cutting-edge features from the ground up as part of a team focused on enhancing our Developer API and enabling third-party developers. Example projects include adding feature support to our external developer APIs building out UIs to provide developers insights on their API usage and support the expansion of our developer ecosystem. You’ll play a key role in shaping how developers deploy bots on the platform and consume our APIs ensuring new functionality is intuitive impactful and delivers a seamless end-to-end experience.

In this role you'll help plan and implement new product features contribute across the stack and take shared ownership of the cross-functional development cycle. We're looking for strong technical collaborators who are excited about AI energized by fast-paced environments and eager to learn and experiment with emerging technologies. Responsibilities:

• Partner with cross-functional teams (design product data science QA and engineering) to advise on product roadmap and create innovative features and developer experiences with our APIs

• Rapidly prototype and implement new product features from ideation to production using modern web technologies and best practices for performance and reliability

• Collaborate closely with early access developers to deliver scalable and efficient API features

• Be a champion for both developer experience and for sustainable scalable code practices

• Participate in on-call responsibilities to ensure Poe provides a reliable and high quality product

Minimum Requirements:

• Availability for meetings and impromptu communication during Quora's “ coordination hours ' (Mon-Fri: 9am-3pm Pacific Time)

• 5+ years of experience working with large scale codebases and systems

• 3+ years of experience working with React Typescript and GraphQL

• 3+ years experience in Python Java C++ or similar programming language

• 2+ years experience in designing APIs or building UI products for external developers

• A passion for learning and always improving yourself and the team around you

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

There are many factors that will determine the starting pay including but not limited to experience location education and business needs.

• US candidates only: For US based applicants the salary range is $155656 - $225160 USD + equity + benefits.

• Canada candidates only: For Toronto and Vancouver based applicants the salary range is $202383 - $278361 CAD + equity + benefits. For all other locations in Canada the salary range is $188891 - $259803 CAD + equity + benefits.
