Senior IT Scrum Master - Salesforce

Databricks is looking for a Senior Scrum Master to help manage the agile scrum board, scoping, and planning efforts for our use of Salesforce, CPQ and related products. You will work closely with the product owners, leaders and stakeholders across lines of business to deliver actionable plans aligned with best practices and long term goals. You will report to the Director IT Product Management as part of the CIO's org.

The impact you will have:

• You will be responsible for overseeing all tasks and activities assigned to the team are performed promptly with minimal technical debt while maintaining the highest quality of performance
• You will manage software development projects using an Agile Scrum approach
• You will apply scrum estimation techniques to software development efforts

What we look for:

• 5+ years of relevant experience as an Agile Scrum Master or equivalent
• Proficiency with agile principles and behaviors as well as the ability to identify and implement opportunities for improvement
• A fundamental understanding of Salesforce CPQ
• Excellent command over Project Management tools
• Skill and knowledge of stakeholder management, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency
• Manage scrum / agile ceremonies and coordinate all aspects of projects
• Drive release planning, publish the scrum metrics - Product Backlog, Burndown chart, Handle timelines, assign responsibilities, and supervise and summarize the progress of the project
• Coordinate partner meetings to ensure all parties understand the deliveries and milestones
• Optimize scrum team velocity to identify improvement opportunities to achieve higher levels of team performance
• Deliver capabilities using agile practices while also following the Software Development Lifecycle, business process mapping, and various release processes as appropriate to ensure all risk, security, and development requirements are met
• Collaborate with product owners, program or project managers to communicate delivery of work product from the team and escalate key risks and issues impeding scrum team effectiveness
• Proven skills in communication (oral, written, presentation), analysis, problem-solving, and short-term and long-term planning
