Job Description

As a Senior Network Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and evolving AIM's network infrastructure to support and enhance our core business operations. Your mission is to lead and contribute to transformational projects and ensure continuous service improvement, security, and operational reliability across our information system. 

Your role and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following: 

• Lead installation, configuration, maintenance, and support of the network infrastructure, ensuring robustness and efficiency. 
• Administer a large range of network devices deployed in different countries that drive our business. 
• Contribute to define standards and best practices for Network design and operations. 
• Innovate on the network and telecommunication infrastructure by implementing automation and self-healing solutions based on a continuous improvement mindset. 
• Maintain cutting-edge performance and monitoring systems, contributing to the continuous advancement of our IT practices. 
• Uphold exemplary technical documentation and contribute to the knowledge-sharing culture within the team. 
• Participate in the on-call rotation for after-hours support and perform occasional maintenance outside regular business hours.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of proven experience in network administration 
• Expertise in network performance issue troubleshooting. 
• Advanced knowledge of network architecture LAN and WAN. 
• Knowledge of scripting for network automation: Python, Napalm, Jinja2, Ansible.
• Proficiency in IP networking (LAN/WAN, Layer 2, Layer 3, VPN, SDN, DHCP, DNS). 
• A proven track record in implementing and managing infrastructure observability and monitoring tools. 
• Experience with different network technologies. 
• Experience with network cloud services, Cisco, Fortinet, Ubiquiti, Optical network, large network infrastructure is a plus 
• Bilingual communication skills in English and French.
