Senior Product Manager

Job Description
Cerner's Platform team is hiring a Senior Product Manager to be accountable for the backlog, prioritization, and roadmap of our platform design system and visual assets that enable product design. As a Sr. Product Manager, you will manage strategy execution for a product or asset set. You will balance cost against value delivery, scrum teams across features, defects, risk prevention, and retirement of technical debt. You will prioritize the product roadmap, manage interdependencies, and decide when to release the new functionality. You will also translate market requirements into product features; own the product backlog, work through the product owner or directly with the scrum team to prioritize and clarify complex product requirements and lead product proof-of-concept and experimentation processes. Finally, you will collaborate with cross-organizational stakeholders to ensure the successful release of new or improved product functionalities and monitor and manage the product's adoption and performance throughout its lifecycle; identify and execute needed actions based on actual vs expected value. This position offers a Hybrid or Remote working environment. Meaning if you live within a metro area of a Cerner office, you will split working time between a Cerner office and remote. Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
8 years total combined related work experience and completed higher education, including:

• 2 years of product management, product design, healthcare information technology (HCIT) consulting and/or other HCIT solution work experience
• 6 years additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job and/or completed higher education

Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business, User Experience (or a related field), or equivalent, relevant work experience
Master's degree in a technology or user experience aligned field
Experience working across large matrixed organization and across global development centers

Expectations
Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
Perform other responsibilities as assigned
Must currently reside within 60 miles of a virtually approved city
