Job Description
- Current CPR certification required. (American Heart Association only)
- Previous Surgical Technician or OB Tech experience in an acute care setting is preferred.
- Six months operating room experience with a completion of formal Surgical Tech. Training Programs preferred.
- One year recent experience as a unit secretary preferred.
- Completion of Terminology Course preferred.
- Prior computer experience highly desirable.
- Requirement for Surgical Tech II in the Operating Room: One year of experience and Surgical Tech Certification (CST) required.
- Requirement for Surgical Tech II in the GI Lab: Two years of experience and a GI Certification (SGNA in lieu of a CST) required.
