This position needs to be in-house 3days/week + Some remote (Hybrid 2days/week). Locals preferred. East of Los Angeles in modern Business Park.
Urgent need for aSr. RPG Programmer Analyst. Hybrid environment to someremote 2 Days and on-site3 Days.Very Flexible Hours. This is a new position (Sr Programmer Retiring) for this busy small IT department consisting of 1 IT Manager, 2 Sr. Programmers, 1 Network Admin and 1 Systems Admin person. Be technically savvy with not onlyIBM i and RPG, EDI a plus but Not Required, document management automation, Routing applications a plus. You should be current with IBM i architecture, new technologies, security, best practices for IBM i and RPG environments. Work with minimal supervision. This company is involved in Supply Chain, Logistics, Import-Export. Heavy involvement with EDI issues.
· 10+ years of experience developing applications in RPG LE, RPG Free
· Be technically savvy with IBM i and RPGILE & RPG Free Form
· Resolve Trouble Tickets, fixes, modifications as well new projects
· Primary role is involved with extracting data from database, send some data from RPG to XML
· Document management automation, distribution a Plus
· You should be current with IBM i architecture, new technologies, security, best practices for IBM i and RPG environments.
· Work with minimal supervision.
· Any Microsoft .Net a plus but not required.
· Plus: Any experience working with API’s to interface software updates
· EDI - they use CLEO EDI a new breed of EDI making it easier to bring on new customers. Mapping
· Any experience with Document Management Automation, AccuRoute software a plus.
· Be able to work with minimal supervision. Must be reliable, and responsible to meet customer needs in a timely manner.
· Any experience working with API’s to interface software updates a plus
· Working knowledge of file transfer protocols including HTTPs, FTP, SFTP, AS2 a plus.
· Any experience or training with JAVA, MQ, Web Services, a plus.
· Must pass Drug Screen and background check with Homeland Security.

· Environment: IBM I Series – IBM I, Windows Exchange Server, MS Server, Office 365, .Net software for document management, Distribution/shipping applications. Use Cleo for EDI integration
