Staff Pharmacist

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Staff Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. . The Staff Pharmacist will play a crucial role in patient service, medication management, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Responsibilities • Accurately dispense and verify prescriptions while ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations. • Counsel patients on proper medication use, side effects, and interactions. • Provide immunizations and other clinical services in line with state guidelines. • Maintain accurate patient records and handle insurance claims processing. • Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and support staff to ensure smooth daily operations. • Monitor inventory, check for expired products, and assist with ordering medications and supplies. • Uphold the highest standards of patient safety, confidentiality, and customer service. Ideal Candidate Qualifications • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree or equivalent. • Active and unrestricted New York State Pharmacist license. • Strong knowledge of retail pharmacy operations, insurance billing, and medication therapy management. • Excellent communication skills with the ability to counsel patients in a clear, empathetic manner. • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. • Team-oriented, reliable, and committed to providing outstanding patient care. • Previous retail pharmacy experience preferred, but motivated new graduates are welcome to apply.
