Supervising Pharmacist

Key Responsibilities: • Medication Dispensing:Accurately dispense prescription medications to patients. • Patient Counseling:Provide thorough guidance on medication usage, potential side effects, and interactions. • Regulatory Compliance:Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local pharmacy regulations. • Controlled Substances Management:Maintain precise records and responsibly manage controlled substances. • Staff Training:Train and mentor pharmacy staff to uphold best practices. • Collaborative Care:Collaborate with healthcare providers to enhance patient care. • Inventory Management:Monitor and manage inventory levels to avoid shortages or excess. • Insurance Processing:Efficiently handle insurance claims and reimbursements. • Customer Service:Professionally address and resolve patient inquiries and concerns. Job Requirements: • Required:Valid pharmacist license as per state regulations. • Preferred:1-3 years of experience in a pharmacy setting. Skills: • In-depth knowledge of federal and state pharmacy laws and regulations. • Proficiency in MICROMERCHANT pharmacy management software. • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. • Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail. • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. • Dedication to providing outstanding patient care. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience in inventory management and implementing cost-saving measures. • Proven success in managing a pharmacy team effectively.
