Our high profile client headquartered in the Pacific NW is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer for their expanding satellite internet org. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise with  Linux OS, VCS – version control systems, and AWS technologies, and able to function well with ambiguity to align successfully with this organization.
 

Job Title: Systems Engineer 

Location: Redmond, WA | Fully Onsite

Pay Range:  $73-88/HR on Experis W2

What’s the Job?

• Understand how commodity servers, operating systems and networks function, perform and scale.
• Possess superb troubleshooting, project management and problem analysis skills.
• Drive technical innovation and efficiency in infrastructure operations via automation.
• Design server monitoring and management solutions using automation and self-repair.
• Create processes that enhance operational workflow and provide positive customer impact.
• Dive deep to resolve problems at their root, looking for failure patterns amenable to long-term solutions via simplification and automation.

What’s Needed?

• Deep experience in Linux OS environment is a must have 
• Knowledge of VCS – Version Control Systems (Git, Mercurial, Syn, etc. )
• Understanding of AWS technologies (aws.amazon.com)
• Work well with ambiguity or in a startup type of environment
• Relentless passion for frugality and out-of-the-box engineering.
• Strong system troubleshooting skills.
