In this role you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers) where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.
As an Application Architect – SAP ATTP you will be responsible for designing and delivering end-to-end serialization and traceability solutions based on SAP Advanced Track and Trace for Pharmaceuticals (ATTP). You will collaborate with clients in the life sciences industry to ensure full compliance with global serialization regulations and seamless integration within their digital supply chain.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead the design and implementation of SAP ATTP solutions covering serialization aggregation and regulatory reporting processes.
- Define system architectures and integration strategies with SAP ERP SAP ICH SAP EM and external serialization/packaging systems.
- Provide technical and functional leadership during all project phases — blueprint build testing go-live and hypercare.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients translating business requirements into scalable compliant and high-performing system architectures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Supply Chain Manufacturing Quality Regulatory) to align solution design with end-to-end business processes.
- Lead or support pre-sales activities including solution presentations architecture reviews and proposal preparation.
- Mentor junior consultants and ensure alignment with IBM’s quality and delivery standards.
- Proven experience in SAP ATTP design and implementation including system integration with packaging lines and regulatory hubs.
- Strong knowledge of serialization aggregation and regulatory reporting processes in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Understanding of integration scenarios between SAP ATTP SAP ICH SAP EM SAP S/4HANA and third-party serialization systems.
- Ability to lead solution design workshops and translate business needs into technical deliverables.
- Excellent communication stakeholder management and documentation skills.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA-based serialization architectures and SAP Cloud Integration (CPI).
- Familiarity with global regulatory requirements (e.g. EU FMD US DSCSA ANVISA CFDA).
- Background in life sciences manufacturing or logistics.
- SAP certification in ATTP or Supply Chain Execution.
- Experience in leading multi-country or multi-site ATTP deployments.
