Job Description

We are Turtle Rock Studios.  An award-winning game developer of AAA first person shooters and other games, including the latest co-op shooter franchise, Back 4 Blood.  We are located in the heart of Orange County, CA. We thrive in an open and collaborative environment which is led to this day by co-founders Chris Ashton and Phil Robb.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, talented, and personable IT administrator to join our team. Applicants will be highly motivated and organized, able to work as part of a team, while also possessing the ability to work without supervision.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as IT support, coordinating with existing IT staff to troubleshoot Windows and Mac workstations
  • Provide excellent end-user support for software, hardware, printers, game consoles, and display devices.
  • Troubleshoot workstation network connectivity issues
  • Use imaging and deployment tools to provision standardized workstations efficiently
  • Help keep documentation up to date
  • Participate in some after hours maintenance windows
Requirements
  • Solid understanding of PC building, maintenance, and operation
  • Basic understanding of practical networking for workstations and server connectivity
  • Familiarity with common corporate application suites (Microsoft Office, Google Apps, etc.)
  • Solid understanding of Windows desktop operating systems
  • Familiarity with concept of Windows Active Directory Domains
  • A strong interest in games and creating an awesome player experience
  • Passion for IT systems and enthusiasm to learn
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Teamwork-centric personality
  • Creative problem solving skills and critical thinking
  • Ability to handle physical demands of position
Preferences
  • Exposure to Linux systems
  • Interest in system security
  • 1-3 years as help desk or desktop support technician
  • Experience with help desk ticketing systems
