USGP is currently seeking a Telemetry Technician to support our nation’s military service members, veterans, and their families at Camp Lejeune. This is a rewarding opportunity to contribute to the health and well-being of those who serve.
Position Benefits:

- Work Schedule:
- Four (4) 12-hour shifts per week
- Rotating shift schedule every 3–6 months:
- Day Shift: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM
- Night Shift: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
Qualifications:
Education/Training:
- Certificate from a cardiovascular technology program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education
Programs (CAAHEP),
OR
- Completion of a formal military training program in telemetry technology Certifications (must have one of the following in addition to BLS):
- American Board of Cardiovascular Medicine – Basic EKG Level IA • National Healthcareer Association (NHA) – Certified EKG Technician • American Education Certification Association (AECA) – Certified Cardiac Monitor Telemetry Technician (CCMTT)
- American Board of Cardiovascular Medicine (ABCM) – Basic Cardiac Monitoring (ECG)
- National Telemetry Association (NTA) – Cardiac Arrhythmia Technician or Electrocardiogram Technician
Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of full-time experience providing telemetry services in a medical setting within the past 3 years
Immunization Requirements (Must be current or able to obtain):
- Hepatitis B (series and titer)
- Tdap (Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis)
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella)
- Varicella (Chickenpox)
- TB (Tuberculosis) test
- Seasonal Influenza (flu) vaccine
- COVID-19 vaccine (if applicable)
Key Responsibilities:
- Continuously monitor, interpret, and document cardiac rhythms, waveforms, and alarm trends via central telemetry monitoring systems • Identify and immediately report any cardiac dysrhythmias or abnormalities to the appropriate medical staff
- Record baseline rhythm strips and document EKG rhythms for all telemetry monitored patients
- Replace electrode pads, wires, and batteries as needed
- Perform EKGs as necessary
- Maintain detailed records, update charting, and communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
