What you'll do!
- We are seeking an Upstream Process Specialist to provide pre- and post-sales support for the full Single Use Technology portfolio.
- You'll serve as the clinical/technical expert to develop relationships with departmental and technical decision makers and partner with Account Executives to gain access to C-Suite decision makers.
- Achieve orders and sales targets for Single Use Technology portfolio in your assigned territory forecast orders and sales within applicable sales funnel, tools, and reports.
- Development of new business opportunities. Identify design-in and execute strategy for each key customer.Assist Account Managers throughout the sales process by providing technical expertise, conducting product demonstrations, installations, and product training.
- Support customer projects with application knowledge and product information, answering product inquiries and giving end-to-end solution presentations.
- Conduct product demonstrations and seminars at trade shows and professional conferences. Use market and product knowledge to assist sales teams in developing sales, marking, and customer account sales strategies.
- Track and communicate industry trends and competitive actions to provide expertise and advice to drive innovative product development.
Who you are!
- A degree in a relevant field such as biotechnology, biology, biochemistry, or a related discipline.
- 4 years of relevant sales, laboratory, research, or related experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey complex technical information to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong networking skills to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, researchers, and decision-makers in biotech organizations.
- Capacity to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support.
- Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing biotech landscape and stay current with industry trends.
- A technical, commercial strategic thinker - Have a deep understanding of technical concepts, allowing them to comprehend complex systems and processes. Ability to connect technical knowledge with commercial insights to develop innovative solutions that align with business goals.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with a technical/ commercial versatile problem-solver with an eye on technical and business aspects.
