<p><strong>Job Purpose<strong> <p> <p>The HR Manager will work with the Facility Leadership and the Business Unit HR function to provide the facility with Human Resource services Heshe is responsible for understanding the business needs of the facility and then translating those needs into HR services to ensure the facility benefits from strategic Human Resource services and standardized processes Heshe is responsible for ensuring both the needs of the business and the needs of the people are met while driving Companys standardized processes into the facility Heshe is also responsible for driving the strategic labor activities and initiatives as it relates to Union Management and Labor Relations <p> <p><strong>Job Duties and Responsibilities<strong> <p> <p><b>Job Duties and Responsibilities<b> <p> <p>Specific duties include but are not limited to Coordinate staffing activities including recruiting selections and placement for the location Oversee implementation of Company policies and standardized processes within the Company facility Ensure development and implementation facility strategies ie training safety compliance labor Deploy strategies and programs as designed by the Company eg compensation planning talent management processes Provide feedback to the Facility Leadership Function and Customers to ensure business needs are met Lead positive employee relations programs in the facility Provide strategic HR solutions to plant manager and staff Facilitate issue resolution between employees and managers as required Perform employee and labor relations duties including grievance procedures where applicable Coordinate staffing activities including recruiting selections and placement for the location Act as a consultant to Business Leaders for Human Resource issues ie career development staffing discipline performance and talent management Analyze HR metrics and create and implement action plans based on those metrics in line with the Function andor business objectives Ensure development and implementation of training strategy Work collaboratively with Lean initiatives to ensure success of continuous improvement Help coordinate employee involvement and community involvement teams andor programs Ensure that Affirmative Action plans are in place and implemented Participate in any OFCCP audits US Only Coordinate facilityss communication efforts ie newsletters plant meetings etc Ensure orientation and induction for newly hired employees and contractors is completed Perform internal investigations prepare necessary documentation and testify at hearings as required Work with Health amp Safety professional to ensure implementation of health amp safety programs Work collaboratively with geographic lead to ensure alignment process to region Implement diversity strategy within the facility <p> <p><b>Requirements<b> 57 years of progressive experience as HR generalist in manufacturing facility Union facility experience required Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or related field or equivalent experience Experienced with negotiations union relationships grievances contract administration Strong understanding of HR Law including FMLA ADA HIPPA EEOC ADEA Natural ability to build strong working relationships with organizational leaders Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customer Certification in Professional Human Resources ie PHR preferred <p> <p>Join our team of 40000 problem solvers who are fostering a culture of innovation by leveraging the diverse perspectives of our global team We believe in facing challenges headon by finding opportunity and uncovering possibility where roadblocks and barriers become targets instead of obstacles We are One Dana with limitless opportunity <p> <p><strong><strong>Our Values<strong><strong> <p> <ul><li>Value Others<li> <li>Inspire Innovation<li> <li>Grow Responsibly<li> <li>Win Together<li> <ul>
