**Chief of Anesthesiology opening in Troy, NY**Albany 7mWe are seeking a fellowship-trained, board-certified Anesthesiologist for a full-time Chief of Anesthesiology position. This hospital-employed leadership role oversees the anesthesia department, clinical operations, staffing, and quality initiatives.* Lead a collaborative team of anesthesiologists and CRNAs* Oversee anesthesia services across OR, OB, and endoscopy.* Drive quality improvement, innovation, and patient safety* Partner with surgical, nursing, and administrative leadership* Develop protocols and mentor clinical staff **Qualifications*** Board-certified Anesthesiologist with fellowship training* Proven leadership experience managing anesthesia teams* Strong communication and collaboration skills* Experience in clinical operations, quality improvement, and strategic planning* Eligible for NYS medical license and DEA**Compensation & Benefits*** Track One - $575,217 and $91,520 leadership stipend * Onsite shifts – 44 hours/week, 44 weeks – 1,936 hours per year * First call shifts per year: * 1 in 8 weekday shifts – 12 hours each * 1 in 8 weekend day shifts – 24 hours each * 1 in 6 holidays – 12 hours each* Track Two - $600,000 and $91,520 leadership stipend * Onsite shifts – 44 hours/week, 44 weeks – 1,936 hours per year * First call shifts per year: * 1 in 5 weekday shifts – 12 hours each * 1 in 5 weekend day shifts – 24 hours each * 1 in 6 holidays – 12 hours each* Starting & Retention Bonus: $100,000 (with 2-year claw back)* Excess call and onsite shift compensation* OB call compensation* Quality incentive compensation (starting at 3rd anniversary)* Comprehensive benefits (health, dental, vision)* Paid malpractice with tail coverage* $4,500 annual CME expense allowance & 40 hours per year* Retirement plans: 403(b) with match, 457(d) plan* Relocation assistance* Loan Repayment: Our institution qualifies as an eligible employer for the federal Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program.238-bed capacity, Hospital offers a vast range of services, including critical care, ambulatory surgery, maternity, cancer care, women's health and behavioral health services.**Troy, NY**Troy, New York is an urban treasure located in the Capital District.
