Job Title: Special Education Teacher – After-School 1:1 Tutoring (Part-Time) Location: Clarksburg, CA Schedule: Part-Time | 2 sessions per week | 90 minutes per session Contract for the full 2025–2026 school year (36 weeks) Pay: $36 - $40 per hour Please inquire for full pay package details Job Description: We are seeking a qualified and compassionateSpecial Education Teacherto provideindividualized after-school tutoringfor students in multiple locations. This student has autism and sensory processing disorder and requires targeted academic support incore subjects. This is a1:1 tutoring roledesigned to help the student build foundational skills and confidence in a structured, sensory-aware environment. The teacher will work closely with the family to align instruction with the student’s IEP goals and learning needs. Responsibilities: • Deliver personalized instruction • Adapt materials and teaching strategies to meet the student’s unique needs. • Implement sensory-friendly techniques to support engagement and comfort. • Monitor and report on academic progress. • Collaborate with parents to reinforce learning strategies at home. • Maintain a safe, organized, and supportive learning environment. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field (Master’s preferred). • Valid California Special Education Teaching Credential. • Experience working with students with autism and sensory processing challenges. • Strong skills in individualized instruction and behavior support. • Familiarity with IEP development and progress tracking. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
