Summary This position is located at Fort Campbell, KY, MWR, NAF Support Services Division - Financial Management Branch. This position is eligible for the NAF benefits package and leave accrual. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid. Learn more about this agency Duties Manages the end-to-end process for independent observer inventories of merchandise and fixed assets. This includes scheduling, preparing briefing materials, conducting observer training, and reconciling final reports. Executes unannounced internal control reviews for all Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) activities. Responsible for documenting results and providing detailed findings to division leadership. Conducts physical security inspections (including key control, security) in conjunction with cash counts to ensure all facilities adhere to departmental and regulatory requirements. Coordinates documentation for change and petty cash funds, maintains administrator lists, and develops formal instructional guidance for assigned operational areas. Develops instructions for assigned areas of responsibility. Performs other clerical/administrative functions and duties as assigned. Requirements Conditions of employment Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required. Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position. A one-year probationary period may be required. Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check. Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2 to include a Tier 1 background investigation. Must hold a current valid driver's license. Hours of operation 0800-1630, and may include event support as needed on occasional evenings or weekends. Qualifications Resumes must be two pages (or less). Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position. A qualified candidate must possess the following: Demonstrated work experience related to the duties of the position that included: 1. Demonstrated knowledge and skill in computer spreadsheet and word processing applications. 2. Current valid driver's license. 3. Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing. 4. Demonstrated math and analytical skills at a level to compute inventory quantities and evaluate variances. 5. Background and experience in accounting and cash handling. In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified": Possesses a minimum of one (1) year of experience leading NAF (Non-Appropriated Funds) inventory procedures Possesses one (1) year of experience maintaining hand receipts for organizational property and inventory accountability Possesses one (1) year of experience working with accounting codes, financial tracking systems, or budgeting procedures **Applicants that meet the highly preferred criteria will be referred to management for consideration first. Allowances and Differentials This job is part of a pay-banded system. Sunday premium pay for regularly scheduled employees and night differential pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander.
