Summary
This position is located at Sports, Fitness, and Aquatics Fort Bliss, TX.
Refusal of a military spouse to participate in established recruitment procedures is considered a declination of employment and is a basis for termination of SEP entitlement for the current PCS of the sponsor. (AR 215-3 2-5).

Duties
Organizes, coordinates, and executes sports leagues, tournaments, and running events in accordance with governing regulations and standards.
Applies sports program policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements to ensure safe, fair, and effective operations
Supports budget and resource management through financial tracking, equipment accountability, and allocation of resources to meet program objectives
Prepares quantitative and narrative reports, and communicates effectively, both orally and in writing, with diverse stakeholders.
Performs field and court setup and maintenance, support daily sports operations, and assists with public relations and marketing for Sports programs.

Incumbent may also be required to complete a Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card for physical access to federally-controlled facilities
Able and willing to work days, nights, weekends, and special events as needed.
Qualifications
Resumes must be two pages (or less). Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position.
A qualified candidate must possess the following:
Demonstrated experience in planning, supervising, administering or carrying out a sports program that included a variety of individual and team sports and guiding participants in developing the skills needed for participation in sports activities and teaching the techniques of various sports. This experience may have been gained managing or administering a sports program in a community, industrial activity, or secondary school or college; planning, teaching or evaluating a physical education curriculum for secondary or higher academic levels; or managing, umpiring, or officiating at amateur or professional athletic events, competitions, or games.
Required experience must have been equivalent to the next lower grade level.
An undergraduate degree in physical education may be fully qualifying for this position.

Payment of Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs are not authorized based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government's interest.
Allowances and Differentials
This job is part of a pay-banded system. Sunday premium pay for regularly scheduled employees and night differential pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander.
Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
