Summary
This position is located at the NASA Shared Services Center (NSSC), Agency Services Branch (ASB). You will serve as a Human Resources Assistant, and will be responsible for serving as a resource on employee training and education requests, and learning and development vendor purchasing transactions.

Duties
Works with a large variety of vendors to identify the appropriate purchase method for training purchases and administration, including onsite and offsite learning and development events.
Completes and reviews all required file documentation to ensure that it meets Federal regulations and Agency directives, including registering employees with vendors, to maintain paperless files and audit trails for purchases.
Individually composes non-technical correspondence and reports from oral instructions, information obtained from files, and
data obtained from staff members.
Responds quickly to expedited and bulking training requests with exceptionally short deadlines and independently monitors multiple electronic applications, prioritize assignments and meet deadlines during heavy work load.
Evaluates and monitors Service Provider procedures and performance for Training Administration processing. Identifies expected productivity measures and provides recommendations on changes to standards as appropriate.
Individually composes non-technical correspondence and reports from oral instructions, information obtained from files, and data obtained from staff members.
Utilizes computer-based applications to research, reconcile and validate monthly purchase charges. Compare charge data with approval records and process audit trails. Disputes erroneous/fraudulent transactions with financial institutions and vendors.

Qualifications
Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work.
To qualify for GS-07, you must have:
a) One year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-06 level:
Applying rules, procedures and operations sufficient to review a variety of services, events or administrative vendor purchasing transactions;
Assisting employees in procuring services, events or administrative vendor purchasing transactions;
Compiling information and preparing technical reports and correspondence; and
Utilizing computer software to prepare and research financial transactions from files, records or databases.

Probationary Period
